M.A. Miller is a 2026-2027 Academic Council of Learned Societies Fellow and Assistant Professor of Gender, Race, and Health in the Women’s, Gender, Sexuality Studies program at Washington State University. He is currently working on the academic monograph Gender Unconformities: Deep Time’s Trans Matters as well as two memoirs: Life Forms At Boundaries: A Trans* Ecology and Courting Devotion. His work has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals and invited collections.
